Pencils on an a4 pad of rubbish paper
OK so this is the first in a series of experiments I'm running.
I'm putting the tools to the test!
I've long since stated that Pro markers are the best for this kind of thing but I've recently made contact with professional grade colouring pencils and have to check them out!
This piece was drawn using the worst, cheapest colouring pencils I've ever seen. They were 69p from my local supermarket and we did not get on well together!
I found blending almost impossible and I had to push so hard to get any colour on the page I actually tore chunks off in places. Theirs no flesh colours so I had to mash something together that kinda works and it's almost impossible to get a sharp point on the pencil without snapping the lead so detail is tricky!!!
Advice, do Not buy cheap pencils for any reason ever. It's no wonder kids have such a hard time colouring in!!
